How to get there by Air :-
 The Bangalore Airport is the main airport in Karnataka. It is very well connected to the rest of India there are daily flights from the metro cities with a good frequencies.
How to get there by Rail :- If you’re travelling to Karnataka by train, you’ll probably find it easiest to get a connection to Bangalore. The city is connected to all parts of the country by rail. Mysore and Mangalore also receive some traffic from outside Karnataka but the permutations and combinations are far fewer.
How to get there by Road :- Karnataka shares her borders with Maharashtra and Goa in the north, Andhra Pradesh in the northeast, Tamil Nadu in the southeast and Kerala to the southwest. There are several entry points from all of these states, and interstate buses run by the government as well as privately operated coach services are a dime a dozen. It is also possible to hire a cab or rent a car at big cities in the neighbouring states. Take National Highway 4 or 13 from Maharashtra depending on whether your destination is Belgaum or Bijapur. Highway 7 will bring you to Bangalore from Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. If you’re travelling from Kerala, you’ll be on NH 17.

Best Time to visit Karnataka - Like most of the Southern states, the average temperature in Karnataka resides on the warmer side. During the winter season temperatures record a steady downfall making it the best time to visit Karnataka.
The peak season for Karnataka travel is from October to March, covering the post-monsoon and winter seasons, as the climate is generally pleasant over the entire State.
On the other hand if you are planning to catch a glimpse of the exotic flora and fauna of Karnataka wildlife sanctuaries, schedule your trip during the monsoon season from May to September get the best cloudy view of ooty, coorg during monsoon.

Places to see in Karnataka - 
Bangalore – Bangalore the capital of Karnataka, is a contemporary, fast growing, and prosperous place that's home to India's IT industry. Places to see in Bangalore are LalBagh, Banaglore Palace, Iskcon temple and Bangalore fashion street.
Mysore - Mysore has an impressive royal heritage, with the city's main tourist attraction being the imposing Mysore Palace. There are many other interesting buildings, palaces, and temples to see.
Coorg – Coorg offers an extremely picturesque and alluring mountainous area in southern Karnataka, not far from Bangalore and Mysore. The area is renowned for its sprawling coffee estates. Its stunning scenic beauty is captivating, Waterfalls, Madikeri is most visited place which is known as mini Scotland of India. The highlight of a visit to Coorg is undoubtedly a stay amidst the coffee plantations.
Gokarna - Gokarna is a small and remote holy town, with four of India's most secluded and pristine beaches nestled nearby. It draws both pious pilgrims and hedonistic holiday makers with equal enthusiasm. You reach this place from Goa which is approx 4 hrs drive from Dabolim airport.

Chikmagalur - This town is located in the foothills of Mullayanagiri range and is dotted with many holy spots, mountain ranges, valleys, waterfalls and wildlife sanctuaries. This is the region where coffee was first cultivated in India, and it has the highest peak, Mullayanagiri, in Karnataka.
Hampi -  It is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites in India. The village is dotted with 500 monuments that include temples, aquatic structures, palaces, etc., and is known for its magnificent architecture of the 14th century. The region is also famous for the annual Vijayanagar festival called ‘Hampi Utsav’, organized by the Government of India in November.
